Welcome to my Blog. Here is a little about me.

It seems like just yesterday I came home to live with my Mom. It has been officially a year since I have been here.

I don't remember much from when I was just a little pup. All I really remember of my past is sitting in that horrid cage at the Human Society of the Pikes Peak Region. Sure. They fed me. Gave me water. Cleaned me and my cage. But that, wasn't enough. I wanted to be let out of the cage. Run. Play fetch. Sleep on a bed with a human who loved me. On my last day there, I only had 10 minutes left of my life. So many people walked by my cage. I even remember a little kid who wanted me. He told his Mom and I remember her saying, "No. That one is to old.". That broke my heart. I still want to run! I still have a whole lot of time ahead of me!

When I only had those last 10 minutes left of my life, I was not to happy. I just lied down and stayed like that. Until my new Mom walked by. She just stared at me and before I knew it, I was sitting in her car going to a new house. Before we got there, we stopped off at what now is my favorite store. PetSmart. She got me a bunch of treats, a harness and a new leash. A whole bunch of treats.

When I got to my new home, I smelled a different dog. I later found out he was Sky, and he was up at Rainbow Bridge. I even later on learned about my other bridge siblings. Tasha was a 17 year old Rottweiler who had Hip Dysplasia  and had to be put to sleep. Max was a Golden Retriever puppy who was chasing a rabbit and got hit by a truck and..past on instantly. Skittles was a Parakeet who Mom found in his bird cage one morning...gone. I still have some siblings here on Earth with me though! Mandy is a 7-&-a-half year old Maine Coon Tabby mix. Coco is a 3 year old Chocolate Point Siamese. Willow is a year old Lilac Point Siamese. Lucy is the newest addition to our family, she is a 1-&-a-half year old Chihuahua mix. And last, but not least is Snickers, a almost a year old Winter White Dwarf Hamster, but he is only white on his tummy.

Over this past year, it is hard to believe that I have been here for that long. Time really does fly! I am almost 7 years old. You are probably wondering my breed though, aren't you? Well, I am a Border Collie Labrador Retriever Mix. I may be a Senior but I still love to play! I still love to chase the ball. Play tug of war. All of that. My favorite place to visit is the one and only, Fox Run Regional Park in Black Forest Colorado. I love it there. Especially during the summer where I can roll around in the green grass and met many new dog friends. Lucy likes it there, too.
